We deliver skilled migrant identification research, international migrant attraction programs and recruitment administration support to employers and governments worldwide. Our combined expertise across Human Resources, Expatriate Management, Recruitment Marketing and Skilled Migration Policy, is used and trusted by governments, employers, recruiters, peak bodies and industry service providers.

We work closely with our clients to understand and deliver solutions that meet their skilled migration requirements.

Case Studies

    Fletcher New Zealand

Fletcher Construction was appointed as the project manager by the New Zealand Earthquake Commission (EQC) to manage the residential repair program following the September 2010 earthquake in Christchurch. The scope of the work, initially estimated at NZD $1.25bn, was substantially revised after the February 2011 earthquake to an estimated NZD $3bn. Anticipating future skill shortages in New Zealand, and Christchurch in particular, Fletcher Construction engaged SGMC International to begin developing an overseas labour pool of construction professionals and construction tradespeople. We provided a major international recruitment event platform – Working Abroad Expo, representation at third party exhibitions, targeted recruitment advertising and candidate management services.

WALGA engaged SGMC International to manage a dedicated recruitment event in Ireland to attract skilled professionals to Western Australia. Our services included hosting and running a screened recruitment event, recruitment advertising across select media and managing the candidate database. WALGA successfully recruited 20 professionals to local governments throughout Western Australia from this event.
